Datascan has been a leader in the inventory processing industry for the past 35 years. Founded in 1970 as an inventory calculating service, we quickly grew to become the largest manual calculating service in the country.
As the company grew, Datascan began to shift its focus away from manual inventory to enhancing scanned inventories. In 1996, a client request spurred the company to develop a system that transmits data via modems – eliminating the need for notebook PCs during inventory.
Today, we are the largest self-scanning provider in the United States with continued growth worldwide. Our systems have evolved to provide unlimited resources via online tools that give our clients complete visibility into the inventory process. We currently provide our inventory experience and systems for more than 30,000 counts annually in over 15 countries worldwide.
